Educating and Developing Girls for Excellence
in Basketball

EDGE is a summer and fall program for developing fundamental basketball skills for girls in the 4th through 8th grade.  The program is conducted in Dublin, Ohio.

About
EDGE

EDGE began in 1994 as a six-week summer program for girls basketball.  Our first year 24 players participated.  In 2008 there were a total of 62 players in four sessions.   EDGE is an alternative to, but can also be a supplement for, other week-long basketball camps.  The focus is on reinforcement of good practice habits and fundamental skills. The structure is a 1 hour 45 minute session once a week for six weeks.   Make-up sessions are also available.  Each week reinforces the previous and builds to a fairly simple, yet diverse practice routine which is designed to help players keep working on fundamentals throughout the summer.  Classes are kept small to allow individual attention.  With approximately 13 to 16 players per session and two, three, or four coaches, players get individual attention each week.
